Marketing

One of my Marketing classes is pretty useless. Thus far, I have yet to learn anything different from the advertising class I took last semester. That is why I am here during class instead of paying attention. My other Marketing, however, is kicking my butt. I spent way longer than I should have writing my one page portion of our group case study. Not to mention that I spend every class slouched down, hiding behind the people in front of me with my head down, praying every minute of that class that I won't get called on. I don't know what I was thinking in taking a class in the business school. They're no fun over there.

So now is about the time that juniors are scurrying around looking for internships over the summer. With the way things are going, a lot of us are having trouble finding jobs, or at least finding as many opportunities as we would have under different circumstances. I'm getting a little worried. By no means am I impressive on paper or in person (I suck at interviews), so I might be kind of screwed. Maybe I should take classes about marketing myself rather than marketing other companies.

By the way, I just noticed a bunch of people taking notes and now I'm thinking that maybe I should start paying attention. He just asked us a question. I don't know what he asked.

Oh, and I made an entirely inappropriate comment in small group yesterday. Not only was it a sexual joke, but I lead this small group. Now you know what I'm talking about being unable to market myself?

Okay, I'll pretend to pay attention now... or look at more jobs.
